INTERNATIONAL PROJECT POSITION
The Wai Community Health Clinic provides health services, primarily to women and children, for 4,400 people in surrounding villages. Phase 1—the foundation—has been completed. Funding is secured for Phase 2, which includes the clinic and a community kitchen, scheduled to begin construction in February 2026. Phase 3, staff housing, is planned for 2027.
We’re seeking a designer with architectural training, some real-world office experience, and competency in AutoCAD. Expect to contribute 2–4 hours per week.
INTERNATIONAL PROJECT POSITION
The Sinjar Academy, located in northern Iraq, provides post-secondary education for the Yazidi minority community that endured a horrific genocide from 2014–2017. We are supporting sustainable site and building designs for a new desert campus that will enroll up to 1,000 students. This challenging and rewarding project will be built in phases, with Phase 1 starting soon.
We’re looking for a designer with architectural training, some real-world office experience, and competency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
LOCAL PROJECTS POSITION
Architect Without Borders Seattle is seeking passionate and experienced architecture designers to join our team for architectural participation in local community projects. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful, pro-bono projects that directly benefit our community.
