ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Architects Without Borders has completed an ambitious schematic design for a high school and professional training center in peri-urban Haiti that will include agriculture, mechanics and fisheries.

With the design leadership of the AWB team, this facility intends to educate 3000 students annually. It will not only educate and train its students for careers that break the ever-present poverty cycle, but will be a regional model of sustainability, demonstrating the closed loop systems of often very scarce energy and water resources while harnessing waste through recycling and reuse.

The schematic design and master plan will enable the Brothers of the Sacred Heart to raise funds for its construction.
